School Rules and Regulations

The rules and regulations of the school ensure a smooth functioning and provide an outline of code of conduct to the parents and children during their stay at school. Abiding by these will be in the best interest of all concerned.

  Admission


  • 1. Admission Criteria: Admission is granted based on the child’s performance in the entrance test and an interaction/interview.
  • 2. Age Requirement: Admission to Nursery is open to children who are 3 years old as of March 31st of the admission year. For each subsequent class, the required age increases by one year.
  • 3. Test & Interview Schedule: The date and time for the entrance test and interview will be provided at the time of registration.
  • 4. Seat Availability: Admission is subject to the availability of seats in the respective class.
  • 5. Mid-Term Admission: Mid-year admissions are generally not permitted, except in cases of transfer, and only if the student qualifies through the entrance test and a seat is available.
  • 6.Parent Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the parents to:
    1. Check the date when the list of selected candidates will be displayed.
    2. Ensure the admission fee is paid by the specified deadline.
  • 7. Transport Facility: The school strives to offer transport services to the maximum number of students. However, children will only be picked up from designated bus stops. Parents are advised to confirm the existing bus stop nearest to them before making transport payments, as no new stops will be added for individual students.

  Academics


  • 1. In our commitment to nurturing every child’s potential, we seek the active cooperation of both students and parents. Our goal is to help average learners improve and enable high achievers to excel.
  • 2. To ensure consistent progress, we encourage parents to work in close partnership with teachers. This collaboration is vital and ultimately benefits the child’s overall development.

 Discipline


  • 1. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without prior permission from the Principal and must be escorted if required.
  • 2. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against students who violate the school’s code of conduct.
  • 3. Respect for teachers, staff, and senior students is of utmost importance. Any behavior that undermines this value will lead to appropriate disciplinary measures.

  School Fee


  • 1. The school management reserves the right to revise the school fee including the Registration fee, Security Deposit, Admission fee etc. as and when the need arises.
  • 2. The school fee is to be paid on the due dates mentioned in the School Diary. Defaulters may be penalised as per the norms.
  • 3. All admission charges,registration fee and monthly fee once paid are neither refundable nor adjustable by any means.
  • 4. Students have to pay three months fee at a time.If they desire,they can make full payment for the whole session in advance in that case a rebate of ₹ 1500/- will be given to the first child & ₹ 1000/- rebate to the second child.
  • 5. Parents have to pay quaterly fee at the counter of Indian Overseas Bank at Mandi Mullanpur between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

  Examination Rules


  • 1. Tests and examinations will not be rescheduled under any circumstances. No re-test will be conducted before or after the scheduled date.
  • 2. Leave during examinations will only be considered if prior written approval has been obtained from the Principal.
  • 3. Submission of a leave application does not guarantee approval; written confirmation from the school is required.
  • 4. Students who miss an exam without prior permission will be marked absent for that subject.
  • 5. For students appearing in board examinations, it is mandatory to secure the minimum qualifying marks set by the school in internal assessments to be eligible for issuance of the Board Examination Roll Number.

  Withdrawal


In the interest of maintaining a positive and effective learning environment, the school may request the withdrawal of a student under the following circumstances:-

  • 1. If a student consistently violates the school’s discipline policies and their continued presence is deemed harmful to the well-being or academic progress of others.
  • 2. If a student is unable to meet the academic standards of their class. This measure is intended to support the child by allowing them to seek an educational setting better suited to their learning needs, while still at an age where they can adapt and progress.

  • In case of voluntary withdrawal by parents, a one-month written notice must be submitted in advance. Alternatively, one month’s fee must be paid in lieu of notice.

  N.R.I. Students


Parents of overseas students must ensure that all travel and immigration documents are complete and valid prior to admission. Upon the student’s arrival, the following documents must be submitted to the school office:

  • 1. A passport with a minimum validity of one year.
  • 2. A passport with a minimum validity of one year.
  • 3. A valid health certificate.

  • It is the responsibility of the parents to keep all documents up to date throughout the student’s tenure at the school.
