About Us

Guru Nanak Public School was the dream and ambition of the progressive and enlightened gentry of Mullanpur and the surrounding area to give our budding students benefit of more advanced system of education, the latest ideas and technology on the subject of education, right upbringing and proper training. Inspired with these noble ideas and parental love, a Guru Nanak Education and Social Welfare Trust was formed. The Trust took prompt action and started this Guru Nanak Public School (10+2), Mullanpur, District – Ludhiana in a rented building on 19 May 1972 with Nursery Class. Now it has gained reorganization throughout the academic world for its commitment to excellence.

Mission

At Guru Nanak Public School, our mission is to deliver quality education that caters especially to the needs of rural communities, while nurturing every student’s intellectual, moral, and physical development. We are dedicated to expanding students’ mental horizons through exposure to the latest developments in science, humanities, and technology, while fostering a deep sense of pride in Indian traditions and cultural values alongside respect for global cultures. We aim to cultivate well-rounded personalities by encouraging active participation in academics, sports, creative arts, and co-curricular activities. Through a learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, critical judgment, and clear expression, we empower students to discover their potential and grow into responsible, compassionate, and confident individuals. Our focus is on creating a balanced educational experience that nurtures the spiritual, moral, cultural, and personal growth of every learner.

Vision

At Guru Nanak Public School, we envision a society empowered through education—where rural students emerge as confident, capable, and compassionate global citizens. We aspire to be a center of excellence that blends academic achievement with cultural rootedness, moral integrity, and lifelong learning. Our vision is to cultivate future leaders who think critically, act ethically, and contribute meaningfully to the world—while remaining grounded in the values of unity, service, and respect for all cultures. Through innovation, inclusion, and inspiration, we aim to shape individuals who are prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow with clarity, courage, and conviction.
