It is an honour and a privilege to be the principal of G.N.P.S., the school that stands for excellence and is continuously striving to set the higher standards. The importance of education in the life of an individual cannot be overstated. It shapes individuals in their formative years and imbibes them with values that would govern all the choices in life. It is said, “If you are planning for a year, sow rice, if you are planning for a decade plant trees; if you are planning for a life time, educate people. Indeed one can even say that the quality of education determines the destiny of the nation. For me education does not mean providing answers. It means equipping the pupil with means to find the answers for himself and within himself. Education empowers students to discover themselves – who they are as people. Within each student is a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a social activist, a sports person, an environmentalist, a poet, an author or on economist. The teacher supports them in channelising resources vis-a-vis their dreams thus, sustainable generating civilized and productive human beings. Over the years in this school, I have witnessed in our students an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism, an active consciousness about the world around them, a focused ambition and a sustained commitment. I am also fortunate to have an experienced and committed team, which has brought the school to its present stature. I along with my team of silent workers, dedicated faculty, intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards in all spheres, to the Zenith. My aim is not only to be an able administrator but also to be a friend a philosopher and a guide to the students, one whom they can count on and trust at all times. I assure you that my doors will be open to the students and their parents for any suggestions or guidance.
